Dr Yeak Hwee Lee

Dr Yeak Hwee Lee believes in renewing her patients' self-confidence through aesthetic medicine. "The effective practice of aesthetic medicine can enhance outer beauty safely while revealing inner beauty concurrently, boosting self-confidence," explains this 47-year-old doctor who graduated with a local medical degree and has a post-graduate diploma in practical dermatology from the University of Wales.

Her specialisation lies in acne and acne scarring along with skin rejuvenation. Prior to leading Singapore Aesthetic Centre (SAC) where she is based now, Dr Yeak practiced aesthetic medicine with Raffles Medical Group. Aside from clinical practice, she is actively involved in the provision of useful information on aesthetic medicine through print media and interviews. She has been featured in The Straits Times newspaper, and she maintains a strong interest in helping patients beat the bulge too, contributing to diet and weight articles in Urban Singapore and Mind Your Body.

An advocate of the healthy lifestyle, Dr Yeak takes time out to train specialists in the lifestyle medicine. She has a keen interest in modern dance and yoga, and even teaches aerobics at the YMCA Singapore! "Everyone can bring out the radiance within if you maintain a healthy lifestyle," she admonishes.
